Red Sea and Egypt

Brother Islands, Daedalus and Elphinstone, a must for die-hard Red Sea divers!

Dive in style on board the MY Blue. The MY Blue was completed in April 2016 with an impressive length of 43 m and width of 9 m. It is the symbiosis of Egypt's years of yacht building experience and the latest technology. Free Nitrox is offered. In terms of safety, the "MY Blue" is equipped with the proven "ENOS" system.

Explore the dreamy Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone, which offer a breathtaking underwater world consisting of steep walls, wreck diving and an abundance of marine animals. An ideal tour for those who want to experience world famous wrecks and reefs.

The exact route and reefs visited depend on the weather and the diving experience of our guests.

Big Brother: Who is the prettier brother now? Many believe that the bigger ones are a bit more ahead and more attractive due to their wrecks: the Aida II and the Numidia have found their final resting place here and are as beautiful as they were in "lifetime". Both mutated into blooming gardens can only be guessed where the wreck ends and the reef begins.

Small Brothers: The reef has a very high concentration of life in a very small area. Coral forests, overhangs, hard and soft corals in a variety and with amazing colors ... and of course there is a lot of fish! Regular sightings of hammerhead sharks, fox sharks, gray sharks, silk sharks and white tip reef sharks can be expected at any time of the year.

Daedalus Reef: Over 180 km south of Brother Islands, this huge reef is surrounded by steep walls and strong currents. The stone corals have grown to enormous sizes! Here you have a great chance of the famous Hammerhead School in the north east of the reef.

Elphinstone Reef: This reef is known for shark encounters, whitetip reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, gray reef sharks, fox sharks and of course what Elphinstone is famous for: the Longimanus - the oceanic whitetip reef shark. Elphinstone Reef or Sha'ab Abu Hamra, located 20 km from Marsa Alam, is a reef no larger than 300 meters in length. Its spectacular cliffs drop well over 100 meters on both sides of the reef. Strong currents make this a perfect drift dive along steep walls covered with many types of fish and soft corals. Here you can see barracudas, angelfish and hordes of anthias, groupers, moray eels and schools of sweet lips. The reef is covered with soft corals to the north. At the southern end of Elphinstone is an archway with a depth of 65 meters, which is far beyond the recreational diving limit, but is ideal for Tek divers. Whitetip sharks also occasionally visit this area. Other types of sharks are regular visitors here - whitetip and gray reef sharks as well as hammerhead and silk sharks can be spotted. The east side is a large steep face, the west is less steep and a bit sandy. Overall, this area has a lot of soft corals, sponges, gorgonians, and huge whip corals.
