We had an excellent trip this past May and learn that perhaps going a couple of months earlier would be more adequate to see more plants in flower. This new trip will now include a visit to world famous Sossusvlei dunes. The itinerary will continue to offer a visit to Epupa falls to see Adansonia digitata in a spectacular setting, and of course 2-3 days in Etosha National Park for a safari experience. Tours will be co-guided by Sean Braine, probably the best natural history guide in Namibia with excellent knowledge on plants, birds, geology, and country’s history. We will visit 3 Welwitschia renowned populations, plus we will see Cyphostema, Commiphora , Adansonia, Adenium, Hoodia, and of course many Acacias. Promise you will not be disappointed!
As previously we will be doing this tour in 4x4 with pop up roof ideal for game watching and photography. Accommodations in mostly luxury lodges!

DEPARTURE / EXTENSION
Journey will start and end in Windhoek. Our itinerary will cover Central Namibia, the coast, northern Namibia all the way to the border of Angola (Epupa falls: Adansonia digitata) and 2-3 days in Etosha National Park.

Because of long traveling time, our first day will be an easy one visiting Windhoek Botanical Gardens. We will stay 200 meters from Windhoek Botanical Gardens, which is well worth a visit!
