Madagascar South

After many trips to “The island of the big trees”, I am always ready to go again! Journey to the central and south-western regions of the Island of Madagascar.

The island is not only rich in plant endemisms (plants that are only found in this place), but also unusual animals: Lemurs and Chameleons are almost exclusively found only in Madagascar. Among the plants, the genus Adansonia is perhaps the most common but Aloe, Euphorbia, Didierea, Alluaudia, and Pachypodium also abound.
